Dave Teeters, founder of Airmotive Specialties, Inc., has a strong relationship to the WWII Warbirds even though he was born decades after the conflict ended. His fascination started because he is a descendant of the greatest aviation generation and grew up in a family of aviation enthusiasts.
It started at a young age… Dave can remember at the age of 10 bucking rivets and tearing down engines with his father Art Teeters at Tom Peck Aviation. As he grew, so did his fascination for airplanes. He built and flew model airplanes, he soloed at the age of 16 and best of all, he spent as much time as he possibly could with his dad and the other guys at the airport gaining the hands-on experience and knowledge to get where he is today. It was the best of memories then and Dave is still building memories at Airmotive Specialties, Inc.
